The Indian Predator

ये घटना महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर जिले की है। 1971 में यहां के कस्तूरबा नाम के एक गांव में एक हैवान, अक्कू यादव (भरत कालीचरण ) का जन्म हुआ। अक्कू सबसे पहले 20 साल की उम्र में एक रेप केस में फंसा था। इसके बाद अक्कू यादव ने अपनी खुद की एक क्राइम गैंग बना डाली जिसकी मदद से उसने 13 सालो तक उस गांव में अपनी दहशत फैला के रखा था। अक्कू यादव लोगों की संपत्ति पर अवैध कब्ज़ा, लूटपत, वसूली, दादागिरी, अपहरण, हत्या और यहां तक कि बलात्कार जैसे घिनोने काम करता रहा। पुलिस भी रिश्वत लेकर इन सब कामो में उनका पूरा साथ देती थी। अक्कू यादव ने एक बार एक 7 साल की प्रेग्नेंट औरत के साथ भी रेप किया साला, इतना ही नहीं अक्कू और उसके गैंग ने 10 साल की बच्ची तक को नहीं छोड़ा और एक बार तो उसने एक महिला जिसने 9 दिन पहले ही एक बच्चे को जन्म दिया दिया था, उसके साथ बलात्कार किया। सारे काम अक्कू लोगो में अपनी दहशत फेलाने के लिए करता था।

उषा नारायणे

उषा नारायणे कस्तूरबा स्लम की ही एक लड़की थी जिसके माता-पिता ने गांव के इलाके के खराब माहोल के चलते पढ़ाई के लिए शहर भेज दिया था। एक दिन उषा गाव आने की जिद्द करने लगी मजबूर होकर उसके घरवालो ने उसे गाव आने की इजाजत दे दी। एक दिन उसने देखा कि कुछ लोग उसके पड़ोसी के साथ लूट पाट कर रहे हैं।

उषा खुद को रोक नहीं पाई और उन लोगों का विरोध करने लगी अकेली साहस से भरी उषा अब उन गुंडों से घिरी हुई थी लेकिन उसने हिम्मत नहीं हारी और वो अपने घर का गैस सिलेंडर उठाकर वहां ले आई और बोली अगर ,तुम इस जगह को नहीं छोड़ते तो मैं खुद के साथ-साथ तुम सबको भी जला दूंगी इस बात से डर कर अक्कू यादव के गैंग के सदस्य वहां से भाग गए उषा के साहस भरे कार्य से उस गांव के सारी महिला में हिम्मत आ गई उषा ने अगले दिन एक टीम बनाकर अक्कू यादव के घर में आग लगा दी इतनी सारी महिलाओं का झुंड देख कर अक्कू यादव डर गया और अपनी जान बचाने के लिए पुलिस स्टेशन भगा और खुद को गिरफ्तार करवा लिया जिसके कारण अक्कू यादव कुछ दिन तक बचा रहा लेकिन इतने दिन उन महिलाओं के आक्रोश को ठंडे करने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं थे ।

अब वो दिन आया जिसका सब महिलाओं को बेसब्री से इंतजार था इस दिन। 7 अगस्त 2004 को अक्कू यादव को कोर्ट में पेशी (सुनवाई) के लिए पेश किया गया सबको पहले ही पता था कि पुलिस और जज रिशवत लेकर बैठे हैं और अक्कू यादव रिहा हो जाएगा लेकिन उस दिन 300 महिलाओं के एक झुंड ने अपने हाथों में हथियार लेकर कोर्ट में हमला कर दिया प्रत्येक के हाथ में खुद का एक हथियार था किसी ने खंजर, किसी ने पत्थर और किसी ने डंडे को पकड़ा हुआ था। कोर्ट में घुसते ही सभी महिलाओं ने पुलिस और सुरक्षा के आंखों में मिर्ची पाउडर फेंककर कटघरे में खड़े अक्कू यादव को बुरी तरह पत्थर, डंडे और बाकी चीज़ों से पीट- पीट कर मार डाला मरने के बाद भी प्रतीक महिला अक्कू यादव की लाश को पत्थर चाकू खंजरों से मार रही थी। उन महिलाओं ने उसके प्राइवेट पार्ट को भी काट डाला था।

इस बात से ही उन महिलाओं के आक्रोश का पता लगाया जा सकता है। सभी महिलाओं ने कानून के सामने खुद को सरेंडर कर लिया। कुछ महिलाओं को कुछ सालों के लिए गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। उषा नारायण ने साबित कर दिया कि अगर महिला चाहे तो वो खुद की रक्षा स्वयं कर सकती हैं उनको किसी की जरूरत नहीं है और कानून, काम ना आने पर खुद ही किसी भी अपराधी को सजा दे सकती हैं।

This incident is from Nagpur district of Maharashtra. In 1971, a devil, Akku Yadav (Bharat Kalicharan) was born in a village named Kasturba. Akku was first implicated in a rape case at the age of 20. After this, Akku Yadav formed his own crime gang with the help of which he spread terror in that village for 13 years. Akku Yadav continued to commit heinous acts like illegal occupation of people's property, plunder, extortion, bullying, kidnapping, murder and even rape. The police also supported them fully in all these works by taking bribes. Akku Yadav once raped a 7 year old pregnant woman, not only this, Akku and his gang did not spare even a 10 year old girl and once he even raped a woman who had given birth to a child 9 days ago. Akku used to do all the work to spread his terror among the people.

Usha Narayane

Usha Narayane was a girl from Kasturba slum whose parents had sent her to the city for studies due to the poor environment of the village area. One day Usha started insisting on coming to the village, but her family members forced her to allow her to come to the village. One day she saw that some people were looting his neighbor.

Usha could not stop herself and started opposing those people. Usha, alone and full of courage, was now surrounded by those goons but she did not lose courage and she picked up the gas cylinder from her house and brought it there and said if you do not leave this place So I will burn you all along with myself. Fearing this, Akku Yadav's gang members ran away from there. Due to Usha's courageous act, all the women of that village got courage. The next day, Usha formed a team and Akku Yadav's house was set on fire. Seeing so many women, Akku Yadav got scared and to save his life, he ran to the police station and got himself arrested, due to which Akku Yadav survived for a few days, but the anger of those women was increasing every day. There were not enough to cool.

Now the day has come for which all the women were eagerly waiting. On August 7, 2004, Akku Yadav was presented in the court for trials. Everyone already knew that the police and the judge were taking bribes and Akku Yadav would be released, but that day a group of 300 women came with weapons in their hands. They attacked the court, each women had his own weapon in his hand, some were holding a dagger, some a stone and some a stick. As soon as they entered the court, all the women threw chilli powder in the eyes of the police and security and brutally beat Akku Yadav, who was standing in the dock, to death with stones, sticks and other things. Even after his death, the body of Akku, every woman was attacking Akku Yadav's body with stones and knives. Those women had also cut his private parts.

The anger of those women can be gauged from this only. All the women surrendered themselves before the law. Some women were arrested for a few years. Usha Narayane proved that if a woman wants, she can protect herself, she does not need anyone and if the law does not work, she can punish any criminal herself.
